Bedlington Terrier Breed
Due to its appearance, the Bedlington Terrier is often referred to as a “lamb on a leash.” The breed is playful, cheerful, and affectionate by nature. Bedlington Terriers originated in Northumberland, England and were used as prized hunting dogs of foxes, hares, and badgers. Miners of Bedlington looked to the breed as vermin hunters. Bedlington Terriers are said to be descendants of the Otterhound and Dandie Dinmont Terrier.
