We’ve all had moments where we just can’t keep our eyes open. For most of us, these moments usually happen after a long day at work. You’re probably familiar with that feeling of coming home, the bed is too far of a journey, so you collapse on the couch and end up taking a nap. Prior to writing full time, I worked in HR, and every commute home ended the same way: with me falling asleep on the couch.
But it isn’t just us humans who have hard days. Our pups also experience their fair share of earth-shattering exhaustion. For most of our dogs, they get sleepy after a big outing like a trip to the dog park. But sometimes they get tuckered out just going about their normal routine – it must be so exhausting being so cute. Usually, this is when they fall asleep in awkward places or positions, and if we’re lucky it’s also when we can capture them on camera.
For one bulldog named Khaleesi, her owner managed to get her right at the perfect moment. The little bulldog had been resting on the sofa when she started to get drowsy. Khaleesi quickly fell asleep in a strange position. But luckily for the entire internet, her owner was quick on the draw with her camera and recorded the whole thing!
