Brave Tiny Dog Chases Burglars Off The Property

The dog that I had as a child wasn’t very large. She was a terrier/poodle mix and she wasn’t heavier than 15 pounds. But she was quite feisty – particularly the day she scared away a would-be burglar from the garage.

Most people think that small dogs aren’t scary. But they certainly can be when they want to. Small dogs won’t hesitate to defend their nearest and dearest when the occasion calls for it. And the tinier the dog, the more spirit they seem to possess as one Reddit video so clearly demonstrated.

Marley was an adorable little white dog that defended his home in Townsville, Australia from a potential break-in. The incident occurred at 5 in the morning as the home’s security cameras caught two men coming up the porch.

As the motion sensor lit up a light, one of the burglars made a really lazy attempt at covering his face with his t-shirt. The two men then proceeded to break into the home. But they didn’t get very far.

Marley immediately met them in the home, and seconds later, the two men were seen on camera fleeing down the driveway. The brave little dog chased them all the way to the end of the driveway and continued to bark at them long after they’d disappeared.

All the commotion caused the homeowner to come out and see what was going on. The older woman could be heard asking her teeny tiny pooch what was going on. Luckily for her, she didn’t have to worry about the outcome that could’ve been had Marley not intervened.
