Boy Sneaks Into His Neighbor’s Garage Each Day To Hug Their Dog

Dogs and kids always make cute pairings. These two usually end up naturally gravitating towards one another. If you’ve ever been to a park or a beach with your dog, chances are at least one kid will run up asking to pet your pooch. Or on the other hand, your dog will inevitably end up running off and becoming friends with a child.

Hollie Breaux Mallet ended up discovering just how powerful these friendships can be when she discovered something on her security camera footage. While reviewing some footage, she noticed that there was a small boy that continuously snuck into her garage in order to play with her dog.

She posted the footage to Facebook alongside a message trying to figure out his identity. She wrote in the post, “Attn Neighbors! Anyone know who this sweet little boy is? Every now and then when he rides his bike he will quickly come and love on my dog or play fetch real quick, but always leaves quick like he doesn’t know if he should be here! I’d like to tell him he’s welcome to stay and play, she loves the attention!”

After posting her message, there were lots of comments. But one of the responses ended up bringing Hollie the answer that she wanted. The little boy’s name was Josh. And it turned out that Josh just recently lost his own dog. His family had a dog named Bella since Josh was 2 years old. But a year prior to him beginning his rendezvous with Hollie’s dog, Bella had passed away. But it seemed that he made a friend in Hollie’s dog which will probably last a long time.
