Any parent knows that bedtime isn’t always as smooth a transition as they’d like. Every child has their own needs and desires before they’re able to settle down. For some that might be the presence of a favorite toy or blanket, while others might need a specific story read to them.
However, one family shared their child’s adorable bedtime ritual, which involved the family’s German Shepherd.
Baron is the German Shepherd who was filmed assisting his human companion, Alexander, get ready for bed. Baron could only be described as being the babysitter in the situation, as he was the one to get Alexander to put his toys away in their toy box. Afterwards, the pooch was seen corralling Alexander into his bed, where the young boy got tucked in by his best friend.
After tucking the young boy into his bed, it was the next part: story time.
Of course, it wasn’t Baron doing the reading, but rather Alexander. The little kid happily read his best friend a story before Baron turned out the lights and it was bed time for the two of them.
