There is something that happens when you age, where you just don’t have the same stamina as before. While I’m not that old myself, I am turning 30 in the next few days, and I’ve noticed that there are certain things I just don’t have the stamina for any more as I did in my 20s. All-nighters? I need a nap first. Hangovers? It takes me a day and a half to get back to normal. Sunburns? Nope, I need that sunscreen now.
But what most people find as they get older is that they can’t really face the younger, energetic people anymore. That is part of the reason I hate going out to crowded bars or clubs – they’re full of young, energetic people and I just can’t hang anymore.
And it would seem that we humans aren’t the only ones to experience this. In fact, one dog owner managed to catch their Boston Terrier, Sophie, being clearly over it when it came to a little Chorkie named Cooper.
Sophie is already an older gal at nine years old. Cooper was just a pup, so it makes sense that she wouldn’t be thrilled about having an energetic pup running around and trying to play with her.
As the owner explained, “Sophie, does not do well with other dogs. She has always been an only ‘dog child’.”
The reason for the video was Sophie’s owner was quite entertained by the reaction to the happy little puppy.
