Whenever there was a thunderstorm my dog would run and hide underneath the bed. She absolutely despised them. It’s not something uncommon for dog owners. Many of us have pets who are terrified of thunder. But the one thing that our pets can usually count on, is for us to be there for them.
Dogs appreciate our comfort in times of distress. And it’s so sweet whenever we see a video of a dog being comforted during a thunderstorm. One adorable little toddler showed that you’re never too young to show some kindness to a friend in need. When the dog was hiding in the corner, the little baby went over and gave it a hug!
This heartwarming gesture was uploaded to Twitter by Akki, who wrote, “This little guy comforting his buddy during a thunderstorm is the best thing you’ll see today.” And they’re so right! It’s a nice reminder that our default setting is kindness. Let’s all try to be like this little kid and show some nurturing love towards our fellow animals.
