A puppy named Gracie was abandoned shortly after birth because she didn’t have any front legs. When she arrived at the vet’s office, she had no hair around her eyes and maggots all over her body.
After making a full recovery, she was adopted by the Turney family that runs a small animal shelter.

The family is already used to taking care of two dogs with disabilities, but this was the first time they would be taking care of a puppy missing both of its front legs.
They want nothing more than for Grace to grow up like other dogs, but she was not eligible for a wheelchair until she got older.
Their 12-year-old son Dylan realized he could use this LEGOS to create a makeshift wheelchair that could fit the smaller dog.

The best part about Dylan’s design was the fact that the wheelchair was relatively cheap and could grow as the dog got older.
It took some time for the puppy to get used to walking around with her new wheelchair, but with some practice, she was running around with ease.

When Grace got old enough, she was fitted into an adult wheelchair that was more permanent. With the help of the boy’s device, she has been able to lead a normal life since she was a puppy.
