Life comes with many changes. But sometimes there are certain things that stay the same. For Luca, an Alaskan Malamute, there was one thing for certain: her love for her special toy. Often times when dogs are puppies, they will destroy their toys. It’s a completely normal part of puppyhood. Even into their adulthood, our dogs will sometimes destroy their plushies.
While Luca was used to destroying her toys, there was one toy, in particular, that was different for the pooch. This one special toy was the one plushie that Luca never dared destroy. In fact, she was quite different with the toy. And even as she grew, Luca never lost any love for this particular toy.
Her owner, Karissa, ended up taking pictures of Luca and her special toy throughout the years, posting them to imgur to show the side by side comparisons. In the post, she wrote, “Then and now. She destroys every stuffed animal except this one.” In the first picture, Karissa pointed out that Luca was only a little 8-week-old pup. But then fast forward two years to the second image, and there is a fully-grown Luca still clutching her favorite stuffed toy.
