What is better than a little retail therapy? When that retail therapy is someone else’s treat. It’s always a nice feeling being able to give back to someone in need. And that is exactly what Rocky Kanaka likes to do for homeless dogs around the country.
His latest endeavor was treating a little Cane Corso puppy to some retail therapy. Kanaka took the pup, Kobe, to the pet store and bought him everything that he touched! The very generous offer was extra special since Kobe happens to be blind. The little puppy might still be a baby, but he’s already been through so much in his life. The vets are still trying to see if they can surgically correct Kobe’s vision. That is why it was so nice that he could be spoiled for an afternoon and get to feel like the little prince that he is.
Kobe is waiting for a forever family of his own. And even though he’s blind, he is able to get around on his own – something that came in handy at the pet store when he was able to find the yummy snacks! And after the grand shopping trip, he’ll definitely have a lot of new toys to bring to his new home whenever he gets adopted – hopefully, he doesn’t have to wait long!
