When it comes to the safety and wellbeing of our dogs there is nothing we wouldn’t do. I think it’s safe to say that all of us wouldn’t hesitate about running out into cold waters in order to rescue our dog. They’re family – it’s that simple.
And for one dog mom, that is exactly what she did. When the woman’s dog was drowning, she immediately jumped into action. The courageous lady raced out to the freezing ocean in order to assist her pooch. The waves were incredibly high and rough. They even knocked her down and she disappeared beneath them for a few seconds. Eventually, she resurfaced the woman was still determined to get to her dog.
But at that point, the waves had carried her too far back towards shore. For a moment it looked like she wouldn’t get him. But the intrepid pooch managed to swim close enough for her to leap back into the tide. She grabbed him and pulled him towards shore with him. By that time, someone else had come to help and the man took the dog for her, carrying the pooch back onto dry land while the lady got her footing.
The nail-biting video definitely had everyone waiting to see how it would turn out. Fortunately for everyone involved, the story had a happy ending.
