Contrary to popular belief, dogs and cats do get along. For any owner who has ever had a dog and cat beneath the same roof, they have witnessed firsthand just how close these animals can become. Growing up I had two cats and a dog. The dog was best friends with both cats. She would often cuddle them as well as let them walk all over her whenever they pleased.
And one video caught a very tender moment between a dog and his feline friend. In the footage you see a black and white cat curled up with a golden retriever. The two are sharing a very close embrace while the cat diligently grooms its canine friend.
After a few moments, the dog then turns to return the favor for the feline. It is such a sweet sight to witness as it proves that animals have much more of an emotional range than we give them credit for. Dogs, as well as cats for that matter, are more than capable of forming bonds and showing love.
A dog’s love has no bounds. Whenever someone gets to experience that love they are truly lucky.
