Dog Drags A Sprinkler Inside To Beat The Heat

A dog brings a water sprinkler inside the house on a hot summer day.

Dogs are known to be quite clever individuals as we’ve seen with plenty of online content. There are definitely times where they prove that they don’t necessarily color within the lines when it comes to finding solutions to their problems. But perhaps the greatest example of this was the Texas dog who brought a sprinkler system inside the house.

We all know that Texas can get pretty warm – particularly during summertime. And a few years ago, when the summer heat was hitting triple digits, one smart dog was determined to find a solution to the heat.

Baloo would normally spend his summers outside playing with the family’s oscillating sprinkler. However, when the heat outside proved to be too much for Baloo he got very creative with how he chose to cope with the heat.

As his owner, Cara Wohr, shared a video of his solution. And while we admit it was quite a brilliant plan, we couldn’t help but feel bad for Wohr and the damage she undoubtedly had to clean up.

Baloo made the executive decision to drag the sprinkler through the doggie door in order for him to have the best of both worlds – a cool indoors and some sprinkler fun. Unfortunately for Baloo, he clearly didn’t factor in potential water damage into his plan…

That moment when your puppy drags the sprinkler through the doggie door 😲 Good thing I was wearing waterproof mascara 😁
