Quarantine has been a very weird time for all of us. We’ve all had some part of our daily routines disrupted. For me, I personally miss being able to walk into a coffee shop and sit down to write for a few hours. Right now, we’re all in a weird state where some countries are opening back up and loosening all restrictions, while others are taking their time. Either way, we’re all not able to fully reintegrate back into the society that we remember.
But while we’ve been in lockdown, some of us have been fortunate enough to live with pets. This means that our days, no matter how dull or depressing, are guaranteed to have a little spark of joy to them. Along with healthcare and other essential workers, pets are some of the heroes of the pandemic because they keep us happy – something that isn’t easy in the middle of a global pandemic.
Our pets have also provided others a great source of joy thanks to social media, since there are many pet owners sharing photos and videos of their pets during lockdown. And that is definitely welcomed content that we all need.
One man made a very adorable video where he documented his time in quarantine using his dog. Of course, it was just the hilarious video that we needed to see since it’s so relatable. It highlighted the ups and downs of being stuck indoors, as well as all the fun and silliness that can be had while at home with your dog.
