Dogs aren’t just loyal companions – they’re also quick in a pinch. If we are ever struggling, they’re some of the first friends to show up on the scene to lend their assistance. And that is exactly what one adorable pup did when he noticed that there was a bird fighting for his life.
The incredible dog, Jax, was the one who noticed that there was a baby bird that had fallen into water and was struggling to swim. The poor bird was quite panicked, and it clearly needed some immediate help in order to survive.
And that is when the heroic Jax leap into action. Thinking quickly, the dog jumped directly into the water and swam out to where the baby bird was drowning. What was so wonderful to watch, was the gentleness with which this dog scooped up the small bird in his mouth before swimming back to the safety of the shore with the bird.
Thanks to this dog’s actions, the tiny bird survived its ordeal and would be able to continue living life. Jax is just one of many dogs who do heroic things for others without a second thought to their own safety. They just do the right thing. And that is quite empathetic. We could probably all use a lesson from dogs – just be kind and help those in need.
