Exhausted Pit Bull Struggles So Hard To Fight Off Sleep

When sleep hits, it can be very difficult to resist. And while for the most part, we get sleepy around bedtime and can easily just drift off to sleep in our beds, sometimes we get sleepy at inopportune times. How many of us have had the age-old problem of falling asleep on the couch? The couch is perhaps the most comforting spot in our homes, besides our beds, and there is usually a TV not too far away which adds to that mesmerizing sleep effect.

But while we often have to fight the urge to fall asleep on the couch, we definitely don’t look as cute doing it as our pets. There is a video of a pit bull pooch who is chilling on the couch looking quite relaxed. And the more relaxed he becomes, the sleepier he gets.

The video is hilarious, given that the dog looks so much like a dad nodding off while on the sofa – the only thing missing is the famous line “I’m just resting my eyes.” But the owners are cracking up as they film the pup. His eyes are getting heavy and they keep closing and opening, while his little head bobs up and down uncontrollably. Clearly, he’s in need of his Z’s.

At one point, his head rolls back and he wakes himself up, only to start nodding off again a few seconds later. It’s something that we can all relate to – we’ve all been him at some point. It’s quite hilarious. You can watch the sleepy pup in the video below:
