Labrador Retrievers are very popular family pets. And it’s no secret as to why they’re fun and friendly dogs who are also very loyal and protective of their families. Not to mention, they’re incredibly gentle and patient dogs.
But the best part about these dogs is that if you have a pool or you just love to hit the beach or the lake and go swimming, you’ll have a best buddy right by your side who is more than happy to join you. That’s because these good boys and girls absolutely love water!
However, there is one woman, Barbara Marshall Miller, who found out that her Labrador retriever pup, Rosemary, was more than just a water-loving dog. She was also the family’s personal lifeguard.
This adorable pooch showed her intense loyalty and care for her people when Barbara witnessed an incredible moment between her daughter Chloe, and Rosemary. It turned out that when the little girl, Chloe, called out to Rosemary, the dog instantly swam over to the child and proceeded to pull her towards the shore.
It was clear that Rosemary was making sure that the child stayed safe and out of harm’s way while in the water.
You honestly cannot teach that kind of love and loyalty.
Chloe is definitely a lucky little girl to have such a loyal best friend to watch out for her while she’s swimming.
