Quarantined Man Sends His Dog To Store With A Note For Cheetos

Many of us have been told by our different governments that we need to stay indoors and avoid going out unnecessarily. With the coronavirus pandemic spreading very quickly, it is important that people stay in our homes. This has forced many people to get creative in how they avoid public spaces. And one man in Mexico came up with perhaps the most ingenious way of both getting his goods while not having to go out.

Antonio Muñoz was in self-isolation when he developed a craving for Cheetos. I’m sure we can all understand that dilemma of craving some junk food but knowing that we shouldn’t go out unnecessarily. So, for many of us, those junk food cravings just have to wait until we go to the grocery store for the weekly shopping trip and can stock up then. Of course, Antonio had a brilliant idea to use his Chihuahua dog, Chokis, to go to the store for him.

Antonio grabbed some money and attached a note to Chokis’s collar and sent her on her way.

The note read, “Hello Mr. Shopkeeper. Please sell my dog some Cheetos, the orange kind, not the red ones, they’re too hot. She has $20 attached to her collar. WARNING: She will bite if not treated right. Your front neighbor.”

Chokis found her way to the store without a problem, and from there, she managed to find her way back to the apartment with Antonio’s bag of Cheetos.

Thrilled, Antonio decided to post some pictures to his Facebook, writing, “Day three of quarantine. I wanted my Cheetos.”

And since posting, Chokis has been Antonio’s personal snacks messenger, having completed two other successful snack runs.
