Police Report Of A Lion Wandering The Streets Turns Out To Be A Dog

There was a lot of drama surrounding a hilarious misunderstanding in the Spanish town of Molina de Segura. Police were called out to deal with what was being described as a lion on the loose.

Naturally, we can only imagine how panicked and terrified the officers must have been when they arrived at the scene where the ferocious beast was supposed to be. But, they were able to breathe a sigh of relief when the lion turned out to be a dog.

The police shared the hilarious story to their social media where it received plenty of likes on Twitter – around 7,000 to be exact.

Officers were happy to report that the dog was not harmed and in good health. The only thing wrong with the dog was the weird shaved haircut that made it look like a lion. The dog was then reunited with its owner who offered no explanation for the bizarre look.

A spokesperson revealed to the Huffington Post, “We’re investigating and waiting for some results. We don’t know the motive for shaving it that way. For now, there’s no justifiable motive. We have to confirm the vaccines and documents are correct, but fortunately, the dog is fine.”

No doubt this is the first call of its kind for the police of Molina de Segura. But definitely a great work story to entertain the family. Police around the world often have funny encounters that a similar, due to misunderstandings.
