Recently, there was a San Francisco woman offering a $7,000 reward in hopes of getting back her stolen blue-eyed miniature Australian Shepherd.
She also hired a plane to fly over the city – which cost as additional $1,200 – with a banner that had the website set up to find her dog Jackson, who was stolen from outside a grocery store in the Bernal Heights neighborhood.

Emilie Talermo said she has been doing everything possible to find her beloved 5-year-old dog.
“I am just one person and I really need help getting the word out there,” she added.
Surveillance video from the grocery store reveals a man in a hoodie approaching the bench that had Jackson tied up.
Using the help of her friends, Talermo has distributed thousands of flyers with a photo of the 28-pound dog who has a white, black, and gray coat and bright blue eyes.

She established the website, www.bringjacksonhome.com, where she was offering a $7,000 reward, “no questions asked,” as well as started an account on Tinder for her dog.
“He’s always with me. It’s a very real love,” Talermo said. “I just need help finding him.”
In order to financially assist in her search, Talermo launched a GoFundMe, where she raised more than $7,000. She planned to donate the extra money to Rocket Dog Rescue.
Talermo got her beloved Jackson in New York just before they moved to Los Angeles and then up to San Francisco.
“Those people I’ve met throughout the years know my love for this dog. I’m just blown away by everyone’s support,” she said.
