Man Spends 2 Years Building A Mini Mansion For His Dogs

When people love their pets, there is no limit on what they’re willing to do for their furry companions to keep them comfortable. This applies to my father, who built an entire outdoor Tuff shed for our cat – he was even so proud of the ½ that he added to the address to mimic a mini version of our own home. While my dad’s one day assembly of a pre-built shed was pretty impressive, it pales in comparison to Aaron Franks.

Aaron pulled out all the stops in order to show his dogs that he cares. He went all out over the span of two years to build his four Pit Bulls the ultimate dog house – like this is the HGTV of dog houses.

Aaron proudly showed off his years’ long labor of love on his social media. Needless to say, the world made the pictures go viral because the results were just that incredible. He calls it a “dog house,” but we call it sheer perfection.

The only true way to describe it would be to call it a mansion for dogs. His four furbabies, Tessa, Bruno, Coupe, and Mia, have all the room in the world to hang out, play, swim, or nap together.

While this incredible doggie play area took him two whole years to complete, Aaron says that it was very much worth all the blood, sweat, and tears he put into it.

And why go through so much effort? As Aaron posted to Facebook it’s because “Our dogs are a part our family and our dog house almost completes our home that we’ve been working on for 10 years.”

In his post he continued, saying, “I guess some people wouldn’t call it a dog house but that’s the shortest name I could come up with.”

“It’s a 3 storey play area…”

“It has 3 entrances, it comes equipped with electricity, running water, 3 swings, in-ground pool, 2 security cameras, indoor staircase with ramp, fire hydrant, pirate ship wheel, access to food and water…”

“It’s mulched where they do their business, has 3 rabbit escape holes…”

“Plenty of spots to lounge in or out [of] the sun…”

“Plus a boom-boom room.”

“My kids want me to put a flat-screen out there so they can watch Animal Planet, but I don’t know, that might be too much…”

There is no room to doubt just how much this man loves his dogs.

And his furry foursome absolutely love their new “home” as well!

Aaron was also sure to save a special shout out to his wife for “being patient and understanding” and for helping with the project in order for him to be able to finish painting it.

These incredible digs are good enough for a human to comfortably live in, and we’re so jealous of Aaron’s dogs. It’s clear that they’re spoiled rotten – just like all dogs should be!

What do you think of his outdoor dog house for his pets? Would you build one for yours? Let us know!
