Little Girl Dancing With Her Dog Will Bring You Joy During This Dark Time

For those stuck inside who need a little joy and pick-me-up, this one is for you.

Since most of the world is experiencing a lockdown because of the coronavirus pandemic, there are a lot of people who are looking to have fun indoors. There are also a lot of people who are still trying to eek out a sense of connection in this self-isolation, which is why social media is becoming more important than ever now.

And Twitter is a prime place for people to post things and bond over shared feelings of isolation. That is why a lot of people have been sharing videos of their pets because, let’s be real, pets always put smiles on faces no matter what.

And the latest video to go viral and bring a smile to everyone’s face is of the precious dog known as Otis who shared a dance with his human sister.

Otis’s owner, Carrie Levan, is an assistant professor at Colby College. While self-isolating at home with her daughter, she managed to capture a sweet moment on camera where her daughter and Otis are dancing to Beauty and the Beast.

She uploaded it to social media, captioning it, “In case you need to smile… my daughter dancing with our pup Otis.”

When another Twitter user saw the video, they couldn’t help but comment on the resemblance that Otis had to Chewbacca, the Wookie from Star Wars. Levan then shared another photo of Otis dressed up as Chewbacca for Halloween.

Since posting, the video was viewed more than 2.6 million times and counting, as well as has received more than 200,000 likes and growing.
